Bertie in Boston (February 2005)

Miss Tinder, our Class 3 teacher, took Bertie Bear on a visit to her home state of Boston in the United States of America in the late winter of 2005. Bertie was lucky enough to be allowed to visit the cockpit of the aeroplane which was to carry them across the Atlantic - he managed to persuade Miss Tinder not to be the pilot!

During their stay in Boston at the home of Mr and Mrs Tinder (senior) there had been a significant snowfall as you can see from the photographs. This is usual during the winters in Boston so the people there get to ski and skate every year - Bertie needed his warmest jumpers during his stay.
