Bertie in Texas
Bertie went to Texas with John and Liz Studd when they visited John's sister who lives in Killeen. Liz is the School Bursar and both John and Liz are good friends with John Arnold, head teacher of Rake School, and his wife Gerry.
John S has written this web site.
While in Texas Bertie met with GIs on Fort Hood and a motor-cycle policeman in Austin.
